Item description

Decent condition, if it were washed and pressed I would be saying nice condition. As you see manufacture is dated to 27 June '46 to a pattern established on 26 April of that year so would be one of the first to the new post-war style. Which is not very different that I can tell but maybe there are 20 stitches to the inch instead of 22, they are picky about that kind of thing. Actual measurements about 44" at the chest but the shoulders are not sized for a chest that size; sleeves about 25 1/2" from the top shoulder seam down and maybe 22 1/2" along the underarm seam. I tried it on and it might fit someone who wears a large shirt but on the tight size so I could call it a medium-long. Photos taken in bright light but actual fabric color not faded, it is what it should be. Ideal for display, reenactment or collection. It is hard to find dated khaki shirts like this. Completely authentic, dated and will look sharp after the laundry. I would press it it has to go through the mail anyway. Shipping is no frills wrapped in brown paper, it won't get hurt any and it will keep it under a pound for most advantageous rate wherever.
