Item description

Vintage original 14 x 22 in. Belgian poster from the 1950s crime drama, THE VINTAGE (Les Vendanges), released in 1957 and directed by Jeffrey Hayden. The colorful artwork depicts the film's major characters around a farming scene. It is unrestored in fine- condition a shown. Two young Italians, Ernesto, a hothead on the run from the law for committing a murder and Giancarlo, his older protective brother, hide among the grape pickers of a vineyard somewhere in Provence. Giancarlo, quiet and mature, falls in love with fragile, sensitive Lucienne while Ernesto develops a burning passion for Lรฉone, the neglected wife of Louis Morel, the vine grower who employs them. Troubles are bound to follow.
