Item description

Single-weight glossy color photograph from the 2000's horror film, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING, released in 2006 by New Line Cinema and directed by Jonathan Liebesman. In this prequel to the famous horror franchise, before being sent to serve in Vietnam, two brothers and their girlfriends take one last road trip, but when they get into an accident, a terrifying experience will take them to a secluded house of horrors, with a chainsaw-wielding killer. The image features a scary exterior long shot of Thomas Hewitt / Leatherface (Andrew Bryniarski) standing alone on a deserted country road as he holds a chainsaw while appearing in silhouette. This photograph was signed in black Sharpie by Andrew Bryniarski, most likely at one of the movie memorabilia shows here in the US. It is in very fine- condition with only light signs of wear on the top left corner. Silent Cinema Inc. (the seller here) guarantees the authenticity of Andrew Bryniarski's signature. Producers Andrew Form and Brad Fuller decided not to make a sequel to the 2003 movie. But the fans kept coming to them, asking how the family got that way and wanting to know several unanswered questions in the 2003 version (some of them include how Monty lost both of his legs, to how Sheriff Hoyt lost his front teeth, and how Leatherface got his nickname). And after a meeting with Michael Bay, they let Sheldon Turner write the script for a prequel and they were prepared to make it. According to producer Brad Fuller, the film was given an NC-17 by the MPAA, and a total of 17 scenes had to be edited in order to get an R rating.
