Item description
This is a vintage original LADERDISC 2-DISC SET from the classic 1920's silent film drama/romance, THE BIG PARADE, released in 1925 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by King Vidor. Based upon the story by Laurence Stallings, a young American soldier (John Gilbert) witnesses the horrors of of the Great War. The cast includes Renee Adoree, Karl Dane, Hobart Bosworth, Claire McDowell, Claire Adams, Tom O'Brien, and Rosita Marstini.
This 2-disc set is in very fine condition and both discs play perfectly without any problems. The outer cardboard sleeve, which opens to a double-page photographic spread, is in fine+ condition with random signs of light wear on various portions of the edges.
