I am unsure of the age of the plate, but I would guess that it dates to the first half of the 20th Century. It has a back stamp on it from Germany, with an R. S., which stands for Reinhold Schlegelmilch. The plate has a beautiful lily pattern and is hand painted. It is 6" in diameter, and was probably a bread plate. It is a beautiful antique R. S. Germany plate, and would be a wonderful addition to any antique collection.
