ABOUT THE ARTIST
R.C. GORMAN - Born in Chinle, Arizona in 1933 as a full-blooded Navajo Native American, R.C. Gorman has achieved
international recognition for his style and subject matter. His dedication to the sensitive portrayal of the people
of his native land, particularly the woman, make his work sought after by collectors all around the world.
The artist died in 2005
R.C.Gorman (1932-2005) was a Navajo Indian who primarily drew women. His free flowing style and vivid color sense catches and holds the eye.
He has been called, "The Picasso of American Indian Artists." This decorative ceramic tile may be used as a wall hanging, on an easel, or framed.
This is a beautiful piece that will become more and more rare due to the death of R.C. Gorman. He will live on through his art! Don't pass up the opportunity to own one of his beautiful pieces.
