This is a vintage Wilton area rug. Back of rug reads: Develon's Royal Trewan. Year of manufacture is unknown to me. The serial number on the back is 72488.
The rug measures 23" X 41".
A beautiful, small oriental rug with fringe as shown. The colors are vivid and non faded. Picture to show the fringe at one corner is longer than the others. Uncertain as to why this is. Also note that the fringe has a slight tear as shown. Fringe appears slightly dirty and may need cleaning as well.
Overall condition is excellent vintage. No foot traffic wear at all. The back label is worn as shown. Any question as to condition, write and I'll try to answer specifics.
