Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; very light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (photos). Spine is easy-to-read with some wear. Some shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; developing split near center of top-edge. Some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. Lyric Insert Included. (Not a cut-out.)

The album title, Rock of the Westies, is a comedic play on words devised by John. He turned the phrase "West of the Rockies" into Rock of the Westies. Like Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, Rock of the Westies also debuted on the US Billboard 200 chart at #1, the only two albums at that time to have done so. The album's single, Island Girl went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA
