Instructions: First determine phosphate concentration using a reliable test kit. 5mL (the top line in the cap) will remove 1ppm of phosphate in 20 gallons. To maximize phosphate removal, add near the intake of the protein skimmer, or fine mesh filter. Do not add more than 5mL per 20 gallons of aquarium water daily. If phosphate concentration is above 1ppm, complete removal must be made over several daily doses. Adding too much, too quickly, can cause stress to some sensitive corals by too quickly lowering the concentration of phosphate. If stress is noticed in corals, decrease dosage by 50% until phosphate is 0. It is completely safe for freshwater and saltwater aquariums, and it can be used at several times its normal dosage without hurting delicate fish or invertebrates.
