Item description
One Lovely Antique WACHTERSBACH Porcelain Basket.
Solid ivory with a hinged brass metal handle, it measures approximately 5 1/4" L x 3 5/8" W x 2 1/8" H (or 5" H with handle up). The handle is finely detailed in a floral pattern and clamped to the basket at both ends. Basketweave design inside and out.
Base is stamped 'WACHTERSBACH' in green, and numbered 4992/1.
CONDITION: Very good. The metal is tarnished but the exterior porcelain is clean (the interior base has some finish wear), and there are no chips or cracks. Hinges move smoothly, handle just slightly bent.
