Handmade copper earrings: rectangles wire and similar items

These handmade copper drop earrings are a long renctangle shaped frame wire wrapped with turquoise glass brick beads. The long rectangle frame is carefully shaped and hammered by hand to flatten and strengthen. Fine gauge wire is used to wrap a pattern of two-holed turquoise glass brick beads and small metallic copper glass beads into the frame. The ear wires are also handmade from copper wire. This is a versatile and eye-catching design suitable for any occasion including casual wear, business attire, or a night out. Your perfect everyday pair of earrings. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
