The basket is lined with plastic, so it would be great for a plant or sweets. The raccoon and basket are both in very good condition, with little wear at all, although I am unsure of the age or origins of the piece. The raccoon is about 7” tall, the basket is 4” tall, 3.5” deep, 5.25” in diameter, and the entire piece is about 7.5” in diameter. The raccoon is attached to the wicker basket. This is a very cute little piece, and a great way to give a plant, or a bowl of sweets as a gift. Super Cute.
