Item description
MOUSE GUARD. Various authors. Written in Spanish. Published by Norma Editorial.
A total of 13 legends that have nothing to do with each other. Mice that face foxes, hawks and weasels. Towns and cities full of small streets and buildings built to their height. Lives of rodents humanized and converted into legendary. Adventures set in a fictitious middle age, where animals of all kinds live in an imaginary world fighting for their survival for power.
'At June's Alley Taver, in the mouse town of Barkstone, the mice gather to enjoy the hospitality of their owner, June. Tonight, June decided to make again a competition in which the winner will see his debt forgive. The competition involves telling stores, neither completely true or completely invented, and the best of all, according to June, will decide the winner. This is how we discover the most surprising emotive and funny legends of the Atons.
This book is full of drastic changes of drawing and narrative styles, endowed with several visual guides of different contents such as the characters of the tawrn, a descriptive map of the place and one of the tweeitories of the 1150 mice.
David Petersen also included 17 pages short biography of the participants of this edition.
