OLD WOVEN WICKER Italian Wine Bottle JUG DEMIJOHN Red, Green color 169 These truly OLD Wicker Wrapped Wine Jugs are just getting almost Impossible to find anymore (and more and more Expensive when we DO find them). No wonder........as they've become so collectible most people won't part with them once they have at least ONE. It's a real art form and one can only Imagine the amount of work and time that went into actually creating them. We recently bought ALL of the old ones that our supplier had left from an import MANY years ago and are listing them here in our store. Once they're gone, they're GONE. The truly OLD ones like this are NOT going to be in PERFECT condition. There are breaks to the weave ......however those like this one that still display well are Highly sought after by Designers and collectors alike. We take INDIVIDUAL Pictures of EACH wicker jug we ever carry so the pictures you see BELOW are of the ACTUAL jug you will RECEIVE. ONE side has an exposed area of the bottle where the weave is missing (pictured below and indicative of AGE). We simply painted the exposed glass underneath to match the surrounding red and green wicker. The rest of the weave is almost completely intact and nice tight. The bottom weave is still on this one. I actually like the ones like this even with the breaks because it makes it a more interesting visual piece. The interior bottle is clear colored and PERFECTLY intact. It Displays Beautifully! Nice at 13 3/4" Tall, 7 3/4" Wide 29" AROUND the Belly!. These have become EXTREMELY Popular in the Interior Design Market with designers using them to grace everything from kitchen countertops to fireplace mantels. They display them as is.............or some put a candle in the opening...... others use dried floral items to stick out the top opening for a stunning arrangement.
