More Music, Less Parking - WFMU Live From Jersey City Late 1990's double CD compilation featuring a, frankly, jaw-dropping array of alternative talent...experimental, avant-garde, Folk, Electronica, Desert-Noir...and the list of names involved is equally impressive...Add N to (X), John Fahey, Tiger Lillies, Nihilist Spasm Band, High Llamas, Calexico, Robert Forster Grant McLennan, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Roy Harper...and towards the end of disc two there is an absolute guaranteed, nailed-on jaw-dropping extended wig-out involving Overhang Party and Primordial Undermind...it's a thing of beauty... 31 tracks and 129 minutes, recorded for the station, unique, one-offs and totally capturing a moment in time... All tracks play with no problems. On WFMU, no catalogue number given. 2000 album in double CD format. The discs are in excellent condition, and there are no playback quality issues, it's all good! The inlay card is in very good condition, with a decidedly perceptive appreciation by Lee Ranaldo of what it means to enjoy music not from the mainstream, plus, of course, it has the usual track and source details etc... The jewel case has the usual light scuffing and other small signs of wear, but is in good working order. Various pictures uploaded, inlay cover and the disc itself, both taken from the actual item.
