Item description
Ballantine's Illustrated History of World War II
Campaign Book No. 1
AFRIKA KORPS
In February 1941 things looked black for the Axis in North Africa, following defeat after defeat inflicted upon the Italian Army at the hands of a small British tank force. Two months later all that had changed - the British temselves lay in confusion and the Axis beat upon the frontiers of Egypt. How did this come about?
By Major K. J. Macksey, M.C. 160 pages. Profusely illustrated with black and white photographs. May 1968, 1st printing. Tight, clean copy in very good condition. May be unread. Mark on front cover and small spots on top and bottom page edges. Some minor wear to covers (please see pictures).
