Item description
This is a facsimile of a European map originally first produced in 1606 and in used until 1630. This map is marked as being from 1610 and is titled "America." The original was created by G. Mercator and Jodocus Hondius I. It was reissued in the 1950s as advertising premiums by the Hoffmann La Roche drug company of Nutley, New Jersey. This is a color copy on nice quality paper stock. It measures approximately 18 1/4 inches wide by 14 inches high. Good condition with some creasing at the corners and top edge. It has also been labeled in pencil in the bottom right corner.
Shipped in a heavy duty Yazoo tube.
