About the item: This stunning original piece of art features the work of legendary DC Comics artist Joe Giella. Beginning his career in the Golden Age, Giella is perhaps best known for his work on Green Lantern, the Flash, and Batman. The art is a recreation of the cover to Showcase #14, the 4th appearance of Barry Allen, the Silver Age Flash. The original cover, from May/June 1958, was inked by Giella with pencils by Carmine Infantino. It measures approximately 11 by 14 inches, is in excellent and undisplayed condition and will be shipped with the utmost care.
