Bell is in excellent condition, has great color and no wear or damage. Measures 5" and is 2.75" in diameter at the base. I don't know the exact pattern name or if it even has one, but the color is sort of a blue iridescent carnival style glass. History: Originally, a Cambridge mold. Imperial Glass purchased Cambridge and then Summit purchased many molds from Imperial. To name the piece, Summit ran a contest and the name Melanie was selected as the winner. The bottom hem on the back side is marked with Summit's "V" in a circle and also "S.B." which some sources say are the the initials of the winner of the naming, while others say the initials stand for "Southern Belle".
