I am pleased to offer from my private collection this absolutely amazing and historically important antique knife made c1920. Beautiful sterling silver fruit knife. Made by the renowned cutlery firm of William Needham. Unlike most Sheffield cutlers, Needham specialized in fruit knives. This piece begins with beautifully inlay mother of pearl handle. The fine mother of pearl inlay is highlighted by silver rectangular plaque for monogram. The spring is decorated with a gold color lines. The blade was exquisitely carved with a spectacular line and shape. The whole piece is amazing. The hallmarks on the blade identify the date of manufacturing to be 1920s. I promise you will love this knife. It is a beautiful testament to Sheffield knife making. Pieces like this are not available very often. Sterling knife would make an excellent addition to any collection. 1 3/4 inch or 47 millimeters blade. 4 1/2 inch long total with open blade. Please see pictures for details.
