Item description
This sale is for an antique armoire, Biedermeier, made in Austria, cherry with ebony trim, stunning, good to excellent condition for its age, measures approximately 23" deep x 73" high x 58" wide, from a smoke free home. Purchased in 2001 at ABC Carpet Antiques. They had purchased the piece from a collector and dated it approximately 1820s-1840s. It reflects the French Empire Style with a high gloss finish. The left hand door needs the top pin reset and opens and closes awkwardly. This item is for pick-up in NY zip code 12758.
