About The Record:
Hollywood suburban housewife and a founder of the Foothill Drama and Choral Society, Elva Miller "graced" the world for a few years with her operatic, warbling voice. She sang many styles of popular music, as evidenced on this album, including her remake of Downtown; she also delves into show tunes and other contemporary pop music. The liner notes of the album inform the reader that Miller's theoretical use of ice to achieve "utmost pitch" when whistling is being used at "several midwestern schools," and that this record would be a "most interesting voice for your record collection."
