Franklin Porcelain 'Friends Of The Forest' Thimble Collection Vintage, 1982, ceramic thimble collection. Dark wood, wall mountable, display stand with circular recesses for each thimble to stand in. Thimble set includes; Raccoon, Opossum, Beaver, Saw-Whet Owl, Squirrel, Skunk, Eastern Chipmunk, Green Frog, Woodchuck, Eagle, Red Fox, Rabbit and Otter. The set also includes an information notelet which matches with the correspondig thimble. PLEASE NOTE that this is NOT the full set. Missing the porcupine and brown bear thimbles. There are also some signs of wear on the wooden stand; small chips and dents in the wood. The set comes with an information booklet ad a letter of authenticity. Dimensions approx; Stand; 27 cm x 21.5 cmthimbles approx 3 cm tall There may be light signs of wear consistant with normal use as this is a vintage / pre-loved item.
