Fantastic find.
Soap box axle and wheel/tires set up from a car used in a local qualifying event in Iowa City from 1947
Chevrolet sponsored this event for many years
Included , is some provenance documentation.
The official event driver's license with detailed price list of materials.
Racers in the 1947 events were not allowed to spend over $6 above the amount they invested in the wheels.
There are also two heat winner ribbons matching the name of the driver's license
Pretty cool stuff!
