Item description
1 bare root plant with a root system.
Niagara is an attractive, productive and vigorous variety with large, slip skin berries, juicy with a strong foxy flavor. Niagara is the leading green grape grown in the United States, used as a table grape and for juices and sweet wines. Although it has a following, Niagara is not known as a high-quality wine grape as it tends to have an abundance of "foxy" flavors and aromas, especially when ripe; harvest at 14 brix or earlier for wine production
When planting Niagara grapes, itโs important to select the right location. Niagara grapes prefer a sunny spot with well-draining soil. Avoid areas with poor drainage, as Niagara grapes will struggle to thrive in such conditions. Itโs also important to note that Niagara grapes need a trellis or support system to climb. Planting within a few feet of a structure, such as a fence or wall, can provide a great support system for your Niagara grapes
