THIS VINTAGE SOUNDESIGN MODEL 61A STOCK # F 2201F CONSOLE RECORD PLAYER NEEDS SOME REPAIR. I PLUGGED IT IN AND THE RADIO TUNER WORKS WELL. THE BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, AND VOLUME ALL WORK WELL. TO ME, THE SPEAKERS SOUND GOOD. THE RECORD PLAYER, HOWEVER, NEEDS REPAIR. THE TURNTABLE DOES NOT TURN, BUT I CAN FEEL A LIGHT "VIBRATION" AND HEAR A LIGHT "SOUND" WHEN IT IS TRYING TO WORK. I SAW A REPAIR VIDEO ON YOUTUBE, AND IT SOUNDS LIKE THE RECORD PLAYERS CAN SEIZE UP DUE TO NOT BEING PLAYED FOR AWHILE, WHICH IS THE CASE WITH THIS ONE, AND THEY CAN BE REPAIRED WITH SOME CLEANING, OILING, AND MAYBE A REPLACEMENT BELT OR SOMETHING. I AM NOT SURE IF THE REPAIR IS MINOR OR MAJOR, BUT THIS WAS WORKING BEFORE IT WAS SET ASIDE IN STORAGE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS, SO I FEEL LIKE IT MIGHT BE AN EASY FIX, BUT I DON'T KNOW. IT IS BEING SOLD "AS IS." IT MEASURES ABOUT 15" DEEP BY 22" WIDE BY 22" HIGH. I WILL CLEAN THIS UP BETTER BEFORE IT SHIPS.
