The ring is centrally bezel-set with 1 NATURAL EMERALD that weighs 1.16 ct. This emerald is a SQUARE STEP CUT that is moderately to heavily included. Emeralds are classified as TYPE III stones, meaning that they almost always have inclusions that are visible to the unaided eye. Type III stones have 4 clarity grades ranging from 'Slightly Included", "Moderately Included", Heavily Included", and "Severely Included". The ring is also set with 2 PRINCESS CUT DIAMONDS and a combo of 18 OLD SINGLE CUT OLD TRANSITIONAL CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .50 ctw. These diamonds are in the G to J color range and VS2 to I clarity range. The head of the ring measures 14 mm north to south by 17.4 mm across.
