2 White Linen Flower Embroidered and 50 similar items

These are 2 white linen hand/guest/tea towels embroidered with flowers. One flower is in shades of blue and one is in shades of pink and maroon. There are stems in a gold shade and leaves in shades of green. There is some pulled thread work on each side of the flowers. The bottom front edge is scalloped with pink overcast stitching. The sides and back have folded, stitched hems. The towels measure approximately 19 3/4" x 13 1/2" and the flower embroidery measures approximately 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". The back hem of one towel has some threads sticking out. See Photo 11. In the 1970s and 1980s, I collected linens. I planned on using these towels in a guest bath, but they were never used. They have been packed away in my linen closet since purchase. I am now downsizing and will be selling linens. I laundered and lightly pressed these towels to freshen them. I observed no tears, holes, fraying, pulled embroidery threads, stains, or discolorations. Non-smoking household.
