The item is made of carved wood (see photos). The item has a worn shellac finish to the wood from outdoor use. The item is vintage. The item has a wire mounted on the backside so you can hang the item for display (see photos). The estate told me this item was purchased from an American Folk Art artist. There is some writing on the backside (see photos and determine the maker, the age, and the origin). This item measures in total about 4.8 inches high/thick if it laying it on the backside, and it is about 17 inches wide at the widest point from side to side. The item is from an estate of an art collector (see photos). The lamp has some lacquer finish losses, some scuffs, and losses and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
