This is a large tray measuring aprox 14? x 19? x 5/8? . Perfect for shabby romantic, cottage or farmhouse chic! In America the practice of tole painting began in 18th century New England, and was also extensively carried on among German immigrants in Pennsylvania. It?s still popular today but not produced today in quantity. These vintage trays are made really well and substantial. I have a couple of large ones i made hangers for to enjoy them hanging on my kitchen wall! I know the new owner will treasure this lovely piece!
