Catalog Number: NRS-48001 Condition Details: Original title sticker on front. Unopened/new vinyl, factory sealed, and in excellent condition. Shrink has come off in small area near front top left. A few tiny surface impressions (front/back). Slight corner wear. Label design can't be confirmed because it's sealed. (Hole-punch in top-left.) As with Gather Me the album featured arrangements and conduction by Roger Kellaway. The word madrugada is Portuguese for "daybreak". The album has not had an official CD release. According to a review on allmusic.com, "everything was immaculately produced (by husband Peter Schekeryk) -- the glossy, professional mix of rock with a large string section was clearly safe territory for Melanie. And nothing on Madrugada is anything less than pleasant." In November 1973, Melanie had a hit in the UK with her cover of the Carole King classic, Will You Love Me Tomorrow so, presumably to try and boost sales of Madrugada, I Am Being Guided was dropped in favor of this song for the UK release.
