Antique Charcoal Portrait of a Soldier Sitting Oval Framed
From Texas estate sale. No background is known for sure.
Not sure about the uniform origin it's a mystery
Beatiful antique Oval Framed in real wood
Seems to he enlarged tintype photo on the paper that was hand colored with chalk. Very hard to capture the portrait detail due to reflection.
Some missing finishes on the frame due to age and wear.
Please feel free to enlarge photo. Collectors item. Perfect to bring a special era touch to your collection or space.
