A xebec (/?zi?b?k/ or /z??b?k/), also spelled zebec, was a Mediterranean sailing ship that was used mostly for trading. Xebecs had a long overhanging bowsprit and aft-set mizzen mast. The term can also refer to a small, fast vessel of the sixteenth to nineteenth centuries, used almost exclusively in the Mediterranean Sea. The model depicts a corsair xebec armed with 14 guns, this type of ship was used by the Barbary corsairs in the Meditarranean and also venturing into the Atlantic. This model is 3D printed and meant to be an economical alternative to wargamers wanting to expand their armies, it can also be used to build dioramas. This model is made in five parts, hull and masts. The model will be sent with support material still attached for better safety during transport, cutting and cleaning will be needed before assembly. The model is printed using PLA, if adding accessories to it superglue type glue will be required or other epoxy glue. The pictures are from one sample model, the models are similar in grade of detail and after print cleaning. The model is dispatched in a postal cardboard box with protective material inside for better safety.
