Auction and bibliographical information on this artist can be found in most major art reference books and on-line sites.Ready to hang in your collection, business, or gallery.More information on Yvonne LightnerYvonne Lightner, 90, of Loveland, died July 3, 2002, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.She was born May 29, 1912, in Cardiff, Wales, to Henry Franklin-Thomas and Emily Harland.Mrs. Lightner was educated in English and French boarding schools and attended the Sorbonne in Paris, where she studied art.During World War II, she was a captain in the Royal Air Force and commanded an ambulance corps in England. She met her American husband of more than 50 years there.She emigrated to the United States and settled in Colorado. She lived in Lakewood many years before moving to Loveland in 1984. She had a long career in painting, during which she won more than 12 9 show awards for her landscapes of the Colorado mountains. She also taught art.She was a longtime member and officer in the Thompson Valley Art League as well as a member of Mensa.
