Pages tanning as usual (still flexible sturdy), upper corner lightly bumped, minutely rubbed to the upper and lower spine edges and corner tips, else square, firm and about near fine in a sewn binding with polished blue linen boards with green titles and border to the front cover and to the spine, upper page edges a lovely red; in a very good dust jacket with artful design by Bill English, with shelf-edge tears and with small chips to the upper and lower spine ends and corner tips, and with two small creased chips to the rear panel's upper shelf-edge, age-toning to the spine panel as usual; original red printed "Book Club Edition" still intact to the front inner flap.
