Made in USA Condition: Pre-Owned Fair This small pilots flight log book would make a great prop for a movie, or play. It measures approximately 6 5/8 inches by 4 3/8 inches. It was put out by Aero Publishers, Los Angeles California. The catalog no for this book was PL-6 Standard Deluxe. It shows the training flights of the owner of the book. The book has a clear plastic holder on the inside front, this is loose from the page but you can see where it was originally glued on. The holder has gold lettering and reads in part: Member Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. The first actual page that would have had flight information written on it, was actually scribbled on in orange pencil along the inside edges, apparently by a child. The next few pages shows the flights taken, the duration, and the instructor. You can see where white out was used to erase some information, On the second flight record page It reads in part: Edward H. Friend, 45 hrs no minutes, as certified by Frank E Furlong C-106788 Owner of Central Air Services Brawley at Shaw Ave Fresno California, 11-30-47. The flights taken, and the instructors, Glen English and Henry Allen, that were on the flights are also listed on the 3rd and 4th pages, the rest of the book is blank.
