Vintage God Jul ChristmasTrivet Swedish Merry Christmas Design No 145 Berggren DESIGN No. 145 Swedish Merry Christmas 1965 - BERGGREN TRAYNES CORPORATION Berggren Originals LIBERTYVILLE, ILLINOIS I have 3 of these available--only one has the label on the back but they are all in very good condition. The one with the labe does have a small chip at the bottom and I will notate this in the photos--the others have no chips. The artists Audrey and Arthur Berggren's company started in 1948. They produced Swedish folk traditional style known as "Dalmalningar" uniquely Scandinavian folk art. The pattern and colors are faithfully reproduced by hand screening. Design No. 134 English translation is " Luck without limit--love so it hurts--the flask never empty" Berrggren signature on the bottom center.
