SIGNED to the title page by the Royal Society of Literature fellow, International Dublin Literary Award and Ondaatje Prize finalist author, screenwriter of the film 'Loop' and novelist of the adapted BBC miniseries 'In A Land Of Plenty'.
Pears' poetic, philosophical, funny and elegiac debut novel, set in Devon featuring a farm girl, her family and neighbors in the isolated village.

A SIGNED Advance First Edition collectible in dust jacket.
Minute dust-soiling to the upper and lower page edges, else very nearly near fine, square, very tight and unread in semi-glossy gray leaf patterns on white stiff card wraps, with black titles to the spine, titles and pre-publication information to the front cover, and author and reader information to the rear cover; in an Emma Parker illustrated near fine advance proof dust jacket that is a half-inch taller than the book and therefore shows crimps to the upper and lower spine ends and shelf-edges; "Provisional Publication Date Price March 93 14.00" printed to the front inner flap.
