Item description
This beautiful framed 11 x 13 inch artwork depicts a Southwest native woman weaving on a hand loom with red rock formations in the background. The intricate needlework design captures the essence of the Southwest theme. The artwork is ready to hang and would make a perfect addition to any home decor.
Finished needlepoint features a native a Southwestern woman weaving on her hand loom trying to capture the red rock formation out in the distance. The background is pale blue. The rocks appear to be from Red Rock Park in Arizona.
Approximate size 11 x 13 inch frame, 9.5 x 7.5 inch image area.
Condition is good pre-owned condition. Beautiful needlework. Honey color wood frame has tiny holes at top where hanger nails pushed through.
The back is inscribed "Merry Christmas Morris Dec. 25, 1990. Hope it fits your decor. Stitched by Kathryn Caldwell." Kathryn's obituary (1938-2021) noted that she was an avid crafter and made many needlepoints for friends and family. This one was for her husband Morris.
Ships promptly. Thank You!
