Some are field recordings, but most were originally released on regional independent labels. These recordings are incredibly rare, beautiful, emotional, and always bring the ?good news.? Highlight: The song Rock and Roll Sermon by Elder Beck, 1956; which rocks with the best of them while condemning Rock and Roll to ultimate damnation, a great version of This Train by Elder Samuel Patterson The Christian Crusaders, and Swing Low, Theotis Taylor, 1975.
