The hinges work as intended and do not stick or make noise. The paint and designs on the outside are not damaged, although the lid has a small dent to the right of the Schmidt crest. The inside is undamaged, though it does have a small spot of surface rust forming. The paper on the inside of the lid is not ripped, however the adhesive that held it in place is starting to fail causing it to hang down a bit and not be completely flush with the lid.
