Matte fold-out cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, tiny surface abrasions, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine has no text and shows mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.) Still We Like Each Other My Name Is David Nobody Sing About The Record: Sesame Street LIVE! is a live album featuring the Sesame Street cast and Muppets performing to an audience of children. It was recorded at three live concerts held on March 15 and 16, 1973 with a total of nearly 1,000 day care center children from the New York area. The first edition of the album featured a unique package design that included a quad-fold record sleeve. The front of the sleeve contained a cut-out of Big Bird standing next to the Sesame Street lightpost which, when opened, would fold over and create a new scene with the picture on the other side. The packaging also included a large poster, created by Terry Anderson, featuring the lyrics to all of the songs, as well as cartoon drawings of the characters. This album reached No. 211 on Billboard's Bubbling Under the Top LPs chart. It won a Grammy Award for Best Recording for Children. In 1976, this album was released on a set of consecutively numbered 45's. A book of sheet music of songs from the album was available separately.
