10" WOOFER for AR-5 or LATER AR-2aX Acoustic and 30 similar items

Since 1990, I have enjoyed collecting and restoring antique radios and vintage audio.... all items I list will be exactly as described and packed extra well to ensure a safe delivery.. buy with confidence ! BUYER is responsible for doing their own research to ensure they are buying the correct speaker/part for their application ! NO ORDER CANCELLATIONS or RETURNS due to buying the wrong, or incompatible type speaker ! For sale is a single 10" AlNiCo WOOFER removed from a 1970 "later version" AR-2aX loudspeaker (s/n 137285). Tested and plays fine, but will need a new foam surround before using on a regular basis. I have already cleaned off the old residual foam and glue, so will be a much easier job for buyer to refoam. DCR measures 7.7 ohms on my meter. This type woofer was also used in the AR-5 speaker model, and possibly others. Will be well packed for a safe delivery. *** OPTION: I've re-foamed 1000+ vintage woofers/speakers over the last 40 yrs, most any brand and model you can name. I'm a perfectionist with the job... no sloppy glue or voice-coil rubbing, and I rarely need to cut out the center dust cap, and use shims to center the cone. I have a method and "knack" for doing it. If buyer would like to hire me to install a new foam surround and make this woofer "like new", for an additional $60 handling fee (inc parts labor), message me BEFORE purchase so I can revise the listing. It will add a few days to the handling time so I can order the correct 10" surround. My clients are always super happy with the result!
