Blackout Bracket For Govee Permanent PRO Outdoor Eaves Lights available in BLACK or WHITE, Christmas These are custom made covers for individual LEDs you want to black out. It's a super easy way to cover up any specific LED that may be at a location not ideal (eg, mine were pointing at me extremely bright and annoying). This is a great alternative to splicing and risk doing so incorrectly leading to voltage drops or not working lights. They snap over your led for a nice snug fit. For extra support, you can use small wire to tie through the small holes around the existing cable. The inside is black to block out the light. The outside is white for a clean look. It's printed with PETG filament to better withstand hot and cold temperatures. You can easily remove it if it doesn't work out. Included in Listing are 4 Brackets. Installation The installation should be straight forward, but to make it ever so easy, try to install the LED at an angle instead of straight onto the LED. This helps open up the wings a little so you can align straight on and press down for a snug fit. See pix on this listing for sample position. Securing Bracket The default recommended install is to just snap the cover onto your LED and tie it with some small wire for extra security. Alternatively, the holes can accommodate a 3mm screw (not included) if you really want to mount it onto a wall; you may break off the 2 side wing to get ~1mm additional clearance for more flush look if desired. However, please go easy when screwing in; these are ultimately still plastic, and can break with too much force. To remove: Hold LED by wire and just pull cover away.
