Item description
Giant Antique Cabinet Card Photograph. Depicting a horse cart parked in front of three lovely Victorian Homes in Manchester, New Hampshire. Photo by John Gilman Ellinwood, Patten Block, Manchester, NH. His stamp appears on the reverse side. The precise location of these homes is not stated. Measures approximately 17.75 x 14 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. This historic image is in excellent condition. A paper frame that originially accompanied this photograph is absent, leaving behind traces of adhesive residue. Comments: John Gilman Ellinwood, known more commonly as J.G. Ellinwood, was born in 1844 in Deering, New Hampshire and died in 1924. Our last image highlights a portion of his biography from the New Hampshire History Blog (not included with purchase.)
