Item description
Bald Cypress Tree (Taxodiun Distichun) 18-24" Tall in a Quart Pot.
The Bald Cypress tree is the classic tree of southern swamps. This tree dwells in swamps because it out competes most other trees on such sites. To the surprise of some people when the Bald Cypress is planted on the right soil in yards or along streets it does quite well and is a beautiful specimen tree. It has been grown successfully in cites as far north as Milwaukee and on the dry Texas hills.
Hardy in zones 4-10.
Pyramidal shaped, 50-70' height and 25' spread at maturity.
Does well in various soils with full sun exposure.
California orders will be shipped bare root only due to soil restrictions, November-March only.
