Item description
RARE and from an estate sale...
Vintage STORE PIPE WALL DISPLAY. It will hold a total of 12 pipes in circular shape.
From looking at the star design I believe this was made in the 1950's or maybe early 1960's.
Marked in great font "THE STARS MEAN QUALITY" "PIPES BY LEE". It also has a numbered star for the pipe quality that was in the display.
It is 15" in diameter and protrudes 3" from a wall. There is a hook on the back for hanging behind a store counter, etc. The back piece is made of wood and the covering is plastic.
Condition: The wood back is in great condition with no scratched or cracks. The red text and gold stars are still nice and bright. The plastic cover has a crack by the screw and one on the bottom back. Neither affect how it hangs or its strength and are hard to see.
It will be protected well and insured.
THE TWO PIPES SHOWN ARE NOT INCLUDED. THEY ARE PICTURED TO SHOW HOW PIPES FIT IN THE DISPLAY.
