The truth is, Diamond Etching is a specific technique used in engraving designs. Diamond Etched Engraving is also known as ?Scratch Engraving? or ?Diamond Drag Engraving.? This is because during the engraving process, a diamond engraver drags across the surface of the object to produce the engraved design. Unlike laser engraving or sublimation, the surface of the material is carefully cut into the metal to reveal an underlying color and leave the engraved pattern. This is by far the most durable engraving style and will never peel or fade like others sometimes do. Simply put, the design will last forever.
