THE BASE COLOR OF THE RESIN IS OFF WHITE The color IS PERMANENT MEDIUM DARK BROWN. I DO MY BEST TO REPLICATE THE ORIGINALS. No two sets will be colored exactly the same, just like in Nature. This Polyurethane is easily turned on a lathe. It can be drilled, tapped and threaded. It is useful for any repair that needs to appear as if it is ivory. It has been used in making a black powder measures, in jewelry making, scrimshaw, custom inlay, pen blanks, reel seats, custom knobs, duck calls, and many, many more unique products.
