New, molded from resin, this is a large cameo brass pendant in BLACK color with MILK CHOCOLATE BROWN color background, mounted on repro Victorian brass, pendant. Cameo measures 1-5/8? tall x 1-1/4? wide (40x30 mm) Brass crown point edged backing 2-1/4? tall x 1-3/4? wide 18? black polished cotton cord necklace with gold alloy spring beads, beads; lobster claw closure included Superb detail down to the texture of her hair, and face! I know because I do half the work in creating the cameos. Comes with information card. The theme of African-American women in cameos is RARE, there is mention of this in the book "Cameos Old New (2nd Edition) by Anna M. Miller, G.G. (I recommend the book for anyone collecting cameos).
